Changelog

New features and notable changes in Embrasure and Ember.

October 3, 2026

  • Ask Ember on Home. Editors, admins, and owners in every workspace can ask Ember from Home, see How Ember answered, and schedule an answer to rerun. See Ask Ember.
  • Workspace management. Members can leave a workspace, owners can transfer ownership to another member, and you can create additional workspaces. Two-step verification now includes single-use recovery codes.
  • Verified email domains. A workspace must prove control of an email domain with a DNS TXT record before the domain can require SSO or route sign-ins.
  • Snowflake ingestion is generally available. Sync Snowflake tables into your warehouse with stream-based replication of inserts, updates, and deletes. See the Snowflake guide.
  • A new catalog home. Catalog opens on Suggested, Favorites, and Recents, with filters by type, source, size, and last analyzed, row counts for warehouse tables, and a column detail panel. See catalog.
  • Faster table lookup in SQL. The SQL catalog sidebar is a ranked typeahead you can resize or collapse. Shift-click a table to insert its full name into the editor.
  • Sources, reorganized. Sources has Warehouse, Context, and Other tabs, warehouse connections have their own list and detail pages, and the sync list can be sorted and paginated. You can now add Slack from Sources.
  • Settings has a sidebar and a searchable directory. Plan settings now show your current plan, usage, and a plan comparison.
  • Plan allowances apply to new workspaces. See limits.
  • Ember in Slack builds dashboards from your warehouse tables and shares a link, replies to conversational messages without starting a data investigation, and explains why when it can't build a dashboard. How Ember answered shows each step as a readable trace.
  • Scheduled dbt runs work in SSO workspaces.
  • Safer PostgreSQL connections. A PostgreSQL source must use a public host, or connect through a public SSH bastion, and connection failures show a clear message instead of the raw driver error. You can also choose continuous or scheduled sync, and an existing publication, while connecting.
  • Product analytics in your warehouse. Workspaces using Analytics get a product_analytics database with events, persons, and sessions tables, plus definitions Ember uses to reproduce report numbers.

  • Guided Ember setup. New workspaces start with About you, can try Ember on a sample warehouse, then connect a source and Slack. See the quickstart.
  • Dashboards inside Embrasure. Dashboards opens in the app without a separate sign-in.
  • dbt setup. Workspace admins can turn on API keys directly from dbt setup. See dbt.
  • Supabase. Connect Supabase in one click, choose batch or continuous sync during setup, and use custom project URLs.
  • Continuous sync by default. New PostgreSQL and Supabase syncs use continuous change data capture when the database supports it.
  • Product analytics. Analytics is organized around projects, with saved and shared reports and a web analytics dashboard.
  • Two-step verification uses a six-digit code field that verifies as you type.
  • You can remove a saved source connection from the add-source flow.

  • New sources: Notion pages and call transcripts, and Lemlist. Attio is generally available.
  • Ember builds tables and dashboards from Slack. Ask Ember to create or refresh a managed dbt model or a dashboard from a thread.
  • Native Slack formatting. Ember answers use Slack's own formatting, and insight previews post concisely with evidence in the thread.
